About Us

The Performance Factory was established in 2007 by Melissa Painter and Emma Jackson, ex Professional performers and fully qualified teachers who wanted to provide affordable training to the young people of Eastbourne and its surrounding areas. The Performance Factory offers a wide range of dance and theatre styles including singing lessons, musical theatre, ballet, tap, modern, street, Acro, commercial, contemporary, en pointe and many more with the aim to utilise and maximise the talents within our youth group. The company places special importance on theatre and dance for young people who wish to become professional performers as well as a strong mission to provide dancing for enjoyment to anyone and everyone. Our teachers are highly experienced producing high quality performers through innovative and dynamic vocational training. We believe that every child has the ability to be creative. We aim to nurture and develop this ability through the varied dance, singing, drama and theatre classes on offer and encourage every student to realise their potential.
